TLC Drives Employment

This is a 12-week program available for those who are unemployed or underemployed. Our Case Managers will provide you additional support to reduce barriers with transportation while searching for a job and help improve your chances of obtaining stable employment.
TLC Drives Employment will provide wraparound services to address a variety of needs an individual may have. This program explores the following areas:
- Transportation: TLC will provide participants with a $25 gas card on a weekly basis (not to exceed $300) if the client continues to adhere to the conditions of the program in this application. For participants who successfully obtain employment, TLC will also provide a $25 gas card on a weekly basis for up to 4 weeks (not to exceed $100) to support maintaining employment until paychecks start to come in.
- Clothing: TLC may also review financial assistance requests to purchase professional attire and/or equipment required for your new position.
- Referrals: Referrals to specialty agencies such as Pikes Peak Workforce Center can be made as appropriate for those who need support in developing resumes and cover letters, interviewing, and obtaining workforce skills.
