Groceries

 Help Yourself

A selection of donated food from Safeway, King Soopers, and Panera Bread.   We count family members but registration is required. Monday-Thursday 12:00 - 3:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Items vary from day to day.

 

Commodities

 A once-each-calendar-month  supplement of staple foods provided by the Federal Government.  Requires income qualification.

 

Emergency Groceries

 A week's worth of groceries packed for an individual or family during a crisis.  We hope this will free income for other bills.

 

Senior Supplemental Groceries

 A special monthly supplement of food for seniors already recieving Commodities.  We try to honor requests when possible.

 

School Supplies

Using lists from a student's school, we supply what he or she will need for the coming year as well as refills during the year.  Highschool students may request an advanced calculator.

 

Gift Program

Parents will submit a list of items for each child.  Using a "giving tree" approach for donations, we are able to supply each child with an assortment of gifts.  Wrapping paper is supplied to each family.

 

Holiday Food Baskets

Food baskets with holiday and other staples along with a gift certificate for Safeway for non-perishables.  Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 

 Snack-Pack Progam

Week-end supplemental food program for selected low-income students at one of our local elementary schools.
