Post-Secondary Education Program Limited financial help for post-secondary educational goals. Requires income qualifications and application process. What is a Post-Secondary Education Program (PSEP)?Getting from here to there sometimes requires a hand or a bridge. The PSEP can be just that for the single mom going back to school, the underemployed seeking education or training to get a better job, or the high school graduate with a dream but not the resources to make it come true. After an application process and an interview with the director and the volunteer manager of this program, a student may request limited financial assistance for books, fees, partial tuition, GED training and testing, membership fees, licensing fees, and other expenses. Our goal is to help an applicant find employment or better employment. Mentoring by one of our volunteers will be a part of most applicants' experience. How to QualifyRegister with Tri-Lakes Cares Qualify by Income Request Paperwork Make an appointment with committee bringing completed paperwork to the appointment. Once selected, must maintain a C average, submit a transcript each semester, and remain in good standing with the educational institiution. How to Donate to This FundAt present, we have individual donors who designate ther TLC giving to fund this program and we are able to completely fund it through their generosity. We continue to look for others interested in supporting this effort in order to be able to assist more students each year. As a donor you could pledge an amount and designate it to the PSEP. Tri-Lakes Cares would "bill" you in arrears for assistance up to the level pledged. For example, you might receive an invoice for fees for one student and text books for another. We would keep you apprised of the overall progress of the program, including "your" student(s). You may also designate any donation amount to this program.
